deepthaw #1 Posted November 4, 2019 Is there any difference in quality (if RF can be said to have any quality at all...) between an old fashioned "game/tv" rf switchbox and one of those simple RCA to Coax adapters?
stupus #2 Posted November 4, 2019 95% of the switch boxes will give you light snow to no image at all and there is no upside to them.
qrysdonnell #3 Posted November 4, 2019 If you're not switching something then the switchbox can only cause a problem. It doesn't have anything in it that would make it look better.
CatPix #4 Posted November 5, 2019 Switchboxes are cheaply made and the switch part introduce a gap in the connection that with time lead to oxydation (think how an unused volume pot get "scratchy"), reducing the connection quality even more. The RCA Coax adapter get none of those issues at all.
