TyrionXavier
Greetings. I recently obtained most of a masterplay interface. It is missing it's button. I see that it's a standard headphones jack. Is there anything special about the button? What do I have to do to make my own? Talk to me like I'm an idiot, please be as detailed as possible, thanks. dingdong
its just a mono 1/8 earphone on one of my joysticks that had 2 buttons (both did the same thing) i disconnected one drilled a little hole and connected the button to a wire from an old 2600 power supply

There are these momentary buttons with the jack you can buy online and velco to your joystick the way it was original done or, in a pinch, I think you can use a Colecovision driving pedal as the second button from the ColecoVision Driving Controller (also known as Expansion Module 2) if you have one. I need to try that one day as I have the original Masterplay and a ColecoVision Driving Controller. hmmm. okay. a little pricey. https://www.ebay.ie/itm/Push-To-Talk-PTT-Switch-for-Aviation-Pilot-Headsets-David-Clark-SkyLite-ok-/282163204625?hash=item41b23cd211
