800_Rocks
Persistent RAM Intra-Tech Computer Products Before I try this in my 800... Any idea what I have here? What the two switches do? Is it rare/valuable? Edit: Wait... I found this. I should have searched first :-) Edited November 14, 2019 by 800_Rocks added info
+Nezgar
Interesting your label shows 1/2 instead of 8K/16K like mine, and the only other one previously pictured on the Internet. I wonder if that means yours is a different or earlier version that switches between two 8K ROM "banks" instead of between a single 8K and 16K cartridge ROM space at once. Care to share some hi-res pics of your internal PCB? Do you know anything of it's previous ownership history, or where it came from geographically? I believe my dad got the one in the linked thread you found from a friend (who was possibly the creator?) in the Vancouver BC (Canada) area, but haven't been able to contact the person he thinks he remembered from all those years ago... 800_Rocks
I got this in an online auction of 27 carts. This one caught my eye. Sorry I have no history on it. Edited November 14, 2019 by 800_Rocks added info

800_Rocks
Nope. It came to me from the NY/NJ area from a charity so someone had donated it. So no real chance of knowing the origin.

Dropcheck
800_Rocks, I have a question to ask. If you have the time......? On this side of the pcb. The inside slide switch. The trace coming from the end of the 74LS04 chip does it go to anyone of the 3 pins or is the trace cut?
Dropcheck
Check the battery. The lower left hand 'corner'. Is that white residue? If it is, then the battery will need to be desoldered, the area cleaned and an new battery soldered in.
