Mehridian Sanders #1 Posted November 18, 2019 I have been looking at low cost upgrades for the TI-99/4a, and I cycle through Mainbytes page at least once a day. I came across an upgrade that looked relatively simple to implement and useful for about any application that could handle the increased clock speed. Mainbyte's Console Speedup. This is something that could be completed in an hour or less, perfect for a small project during the week, when juggling 3 kids with homework and various other issues. Since the frequency is a must at 14.31818. 1 google search later led me to this : https://www.ebay.com/itm/10-X-14-31818-MHz-14-31818MHz-Crystal-Oscillator-HC-49U-NEW-KDS-Japan-/371234890138 Since the picture of these was taken 7 years ago, I am leary of making a purchase. Call me a Skeptic-Negative-Norman, I just like more info than I could possibly need. Thanks in advance for your replies.
