I also like Snowball Fight: The video doesn't do it justice. Great simple fun. I remember finding this on a BBS back in the early 90's and having a blast with it. The only problem is that it would always start showing video degradation and eventually lock up, requiring a reboot. I've never found a version that didn't have this problem, and I've played it on 800XL's and plain 800's. Has anyone played it for more than, say, 15 minutes without it crashing? Marius
My daughter and I love DynaKillers (unchained in case of multijoy). Mashed Turtles is indeed cool. And Blip! And Shot'em All. The Goonies has a nice co-OP feature. Just like Zybex. Joust and Mule of course and what you say Castle Crisis is amazing. I also love Astro4 Roads. Some of these games might not run at all on 800/400.

adam242
Surprised no one's yet mentioned Castle Crisis. Excellent updated version of 2600 Warlords.

It was already mentioned (posts #1, 10 and 27) but it is worth mentioning it again. Very good game and among the oldest homebrews (2004).
Marius
There was also this game where you had to pick up blocks with a helicopter and bring then to your base. It had a split screen. Iirc it was called Protector but I might be wrong. It is a game though with a pretty steep learning curve (especially to get your helicopter exact above those blocks) so it might not be choice #1 on a meeting. But it is definitely extremely cool multiplayer game (2 players)
