ParanoidLittleMan #1 Posted December 4, 2019 Here is on what I worked last week: New version of Floppy Image Runner, made after experiences in TOS improving, making Virtual Floppy function in it, and other . Main benefit is that it works with less RAM, because floppy image is not stored in RAM, but on hard disk. After mounting ST floppy image file, it takes some 24 KB RAM only. Write to image files works too. Program works with fragmented files too, and max image size is 2 MB. Format is ST, and must be regular FAT12. There is support for SW using XBIOS 8 and 9 floppy access, and supplied ST image is such - Sundog by FTL . Requirements: ST, STE with min 512 KB RAM, but more is recommended. Mass storage - hard disk, Flash card adapter . This should work with all decent hard disk driver SW, TOS 1.00 - 2.06 . With usual TOS/AHDI, DOS/TOS compatible partitions and even with pure DOS partitions usable with iTOS . So far I tested with 1.04, 1.04i and 2.06 . Read supplied TXT file - there is more detail and usage hints. IMGR2A.ZIP 5

ParanoidLittleMan #7 Posted December 8, 2019 Update: IMGRLH.ZIP Added some code, fixes, so it works with TOS 1.02 - 4.04 (Falcon) . Needed special fix for 1.02 . 1.00 will be not supported - really not good with hard disks. There are 2 variants, IMGRH.TOS will install in high RAM, what is good for some SW, not liking too much low RAM occupied. Please use this v. instead what is in first post here. 2
