MantaNZ Posted December 7, 2019 Share Posted December 7, 2019 Hi everyone, I figured this was a good place to announce my upcoming Mega Drive game, Puck Off! its basically just an advanced Pong type game - think along the lines of WindJammers and Geometry Wars having a baby ? it’s currently playable but I haven’t implemented AI, special moves or advanced features yet as it’s pretty early on, but it’s coming along nicely. The game will be for 1-4 players. No promises but if it turns out well enough it will get a quality physical release. Here’s the title screen (WIP) to give an idea of the graphical style. The grid is of course scrolling in the emulator - true ‘80s style. Actually I don’t remember seeing that grid anywhere in the ‘80s but pretty much every retro project uses it in 2019! Lol.
