While getting that old dog to do new tricks is wortwhile in and of itself, if you are looking for something to do TI 99/4A emulation in a compact form factor, consider a GPD WIN.

For me it is about cash... I have to be 2nd hand until I find a job that pays better. I tried turning in my bachelor's degree for a refund on my student loans ... cause it doesn't work... :)

I have the Android version of that unit, and I think it's pretty decent, but the Windows unit always seemed way overpriced to me. :)

Or ( since we cant "Honey I shrunk the TI") have this usable to code with. I was thinking a RPI that could update code to a TIPI or somesuch. Open to all :)

Got the serial cable? You could type programs on the PDA, import them to a PC using the serial cable, and then paste them into the TIPI.

This may do. ... all going to the "FinalFlash" project I got going... this project has morphed somewhat, but will still try and find a use for ye olde Pocketmate.4f00182a69ee541d74d0642292aae98d.jpg
