Philflound #1 Posted December 17, 2019 (edited) After so many years and never seeing this, I finally acquired it without knowing it was this version. The 1986 Casino variation is extremely rare. Doing a search on Ebay yields nothing from what I can see. I don't even see a loose cartridge from this date. But with a purchase I just made, I received the variation in the box. But better yet, this is brand new sealed. Though not perfect, this is the first box I ever saw. Atarimania doesn't have a scan. I'm sure some collectors out there do though. So here are my scans. The website will be updated shortly. Phil Edited December 17, 2019 by Philflound 7

Philflound #3 Posted December 17, 2019 Thanks. I'm just happy I'll have it for my variation site. I'll try and get it updated tomorrow. I also got a 1986 Backgammon sealed in the deal too. Though that one isn't as nice condition.
groundtrooper #4 Posted December 18, 2019 Very nice. I found a CIB in a local shop in April this year. I had passed it by so many times it’s not even funny. I started trying to chase down Atari Corp versions when I had pretty much completed most of my CIB Inc set. I paid $5 for my CIB Corp Casino. Once I actually stopped and read the labels or boxes I found a bunch of Corp stuff out there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lost Monkey #5 Posted December 18, 2019 It is amazing they were still producing this title in 1986.
groundtrooper #6 Posted December 18, 2019 Atari Corp made some very interesting choices in the early (2K and 4K) games that they chose to re-release during the crash. These are all of my Corp CIBs. I have almost all of the carts loose but the gray boxes are really head scratchers considering that Nintendo was entering the scene around this time. Philflound #7 Posted December 18, 2019 Well if any of those boxes are ones I need, I'd appreciate it if you could send me scans of front and back. Just click on the link for the variations site in my sig. Thanks. Phil

jhd #11 Posted December 19, 2019 All of the boxes of Casino that I have seen had this same "Special Edition" banner. I do not know what made it "special".

Philflound #16 Posted December 19, 2019 I don't think it had anything to do with text or pic labels. Games marked Special Edition were Basic Programming, Backgammon, Casino, Championship Soccer, Superman and Video Chess. I don't know what made any of these games Special Edition, but I think that's all of them.
