Pixelboy #2 Posted December 17, 2019 In my humble opinion, where the ADAM is concerned, the only "holy grail" is a floppy disk drive in perfect working order.

It contains Walters Software Co.'s enhanced SmartDSK operating system for the ADAM Computer with the biggest addition being Ramdisk setup of a Memory Expander installed in the ADAM. Doubledown is correct, these are repurposed Atari cartridge shells... the ColecoVision cart shell variety. Holy Grail? Not really, but worth what someone is willing to spend in order to acquire it. Holy Grail items for the ADAM would be the 80 column units produced by Eve Electronics and Orphanware seeing as there are plenty of disk drives that come up for sale on a pretty regular basis on eBay and thru private sales. Now that my shopping is done I have left over money for a disk drive. Just need to find one. I missed out on the last one that came available. I would even be happy with a fixer er upper. Atleast I have the power supply for it. It came in a box of books and data cassettes I just bought
