rietveld
When I am using the Adam module do I unplug the colecovision power brick and just use printer? Or do I need both power supplies?
rietveld
I have always kept both plugged in but I jusst recently picked up the plastic tray that holds the two together and found that it has a tab that covers the colecovision power cord port. And there is your answer. Probably made no difference by leaving both plugged in, as the voltages all go the same place; but the idea of the module 3 ADAM add-on was that the stuff out of the box was a complete ADAM if you added your own CV unit to the back of the ADAM module. NIAD
Do not use the CV Power Supply when connecting the Expansion Module #3 ADAM. The tab on the joiner tray is there for a reason as you have figured out.

I used the colecovision power brick so that I could also connect my roller controller
doubledown
Does the ADAM Expansion version not use the same side-located power plug as the stand-alone? If it does, there was a Connector Adapter which plugs inline, and gives you a connection for the Roller Controller.
rietveld
You are correct. i just noticed that my stand alone adam has that connector. I will just use the roller controller on that adam instead. Thanks
