jdmccrigt
I recently bought an Atarimax SD from another member who upgraded to a Phoenix. However, when i turn my system on, it shows the boot screen, blue light comes on then goes out, and then the screen shows the game titles. But i cannot select any game with the controller. My system works with all other carts and power switch is clean. Ive tried emailing Atarimax but not getting any response. Any thoughts for a solution? Do i reload the boot files and try again? Any help would be appreciated!
digress
I have the Atarimax SD next to me. Use it most days. The sd card probably needs to be reseated. take it out put it back in. If it still won't work format the sd card and recopy the files back on to it or try another sd card. get the lastest firmware from this thread: Edited December 19, 2019 by digress
jdmccrigt
I have reinserted it a number of times to no avail. I did see this post, too, to update the firmware and this was my plan. I just wanted to get either conformation or someone's alternate experience in resolving this. Thank you!
NIAD
I would contact the seller if your attempts to fix the issue do not work. If the item was stated to be in working consition, there is no reason you should be having issues unless the cart got knocked around in shipping or worse, the seller shipper the cart with the SD Card inserted... which would be a bone head move. jdmccrigt
I did a firmware/software recovery and it was successful. Thank you all!
