Well off to find another Tapper I guess :-( least I got A REFUND !!! Perhaps I'm a little naive, but I've always thought people would never break into your place to steal your Atari games. If anything, I would expect the Atari stuff to be the *LAST* thing they would steal. Sounds pretty unusual. Has anyone on this board had a robber break in and steal any of your Atari stuff? xulchris #6 Posted July 9, 2003 (psssst Maybe its CPUWIZ?) Anyway, was this guy selling anything else? You can just ask other buyers of his stuff and see if he gave them the same story.

GruBBworM #9 Posted July 9, 2003 I should have seen that coming with the not a registered user How can you sell not being registered?????
xulchris #10 Posted July 9, 2003 http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MfcI...&sort=3&rows=25 That is the link you want to look at. As you can see, he sold another item to someone else. Simply email that other buyer and ask him if he got the same story. Anyway, I think this guy is lying to you, and you probably deserve what you get for buying from someone who has never sold anything on eBay before! Feedback history is important, I don't care how rare it is. I'm still waiting to see if that guy who sold 3 bomb carts gets any feedback.
CPUWIZ #11 Posted July 9, 2003 Hmm, stealing Atari carts, what's Marco's address again ? I had a similar thing happen to me, I bought something from someone in the UK and before I even paid they contacted me and told me their entire car with all the parcel in it had been stolen. video game addict #12 Posted July 9, 2003 Hmm, stealing Atari carts, what's Marco's address again ? I had a similar thing happen to me, I bought something from someone in the UK and before I even paid they contacted me and told me their entire car with all the parcel in it had been stolen. For that reason alone I never take packages to work with me, unless they fit in my trunk. Not so much that my car will be stolen, but a pile of packages waiting to be mailed out, might look tempting to a thief. I've never had Atari games stolen from me, but there was this "friend" of my younger brother, who took a couple PSX memory cards once with my FFVII saves on them. Never got those back either. But Anything's possible. He +could+ be telling the truth. But if he's willing to send back your money I'd take it, and not worry about it. If he truely is underhanded, and he's wanting to relist it or sell to someone else, JUST LET HIM! No reason to piss around with him, and then maybe he does agree to send to you, only to have the postal system mysteriously LOSE the package. $15 for Tapper isn't really that low of a price that you can easily buy again. I think I paid $12 for mine just a couple months ago. I'd take the money and find another.
ussexplorer #13 Posted July 10, 2003 What the robber didn't take the beta max or CED selectavision. What about that nice Reel To Reel Deck, and can we say 8-track anybody. Later, Josh
surfnmadness #14 Posted July 10, 2003 Got sort of same issue with guy http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3022937140 Sent money, no game for weeks, sent email, first one says, did you pay? Sent him paypal receipt as well as details of deposit in his account. Then he suddenly remembers, "yeah, sent that day after auction ened, let me know when you get it." After 30 days, I sent email asking what we are going to do. Goes without answer so left neg feedback. No money, no product, no contact. Week later he post this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3532166806 Sent msg to him, umm, is that the one you sent me? He responds back, nope, got 4 of them. (why did he not offer another to replace the one lost?)

Atarinuts #17 Posted July 10, 2003 After 30 days, I sent email asking what we are going to do. Goes without answer so left neg feedback. No money, no product, no contact. Remember, Paypal, your bank, or your credit card company won't do anything about this after 30 days. You have to file a complaint before the 30 days are up to get your money back. I had something similiar happen when I bought a tooth protectors and forgot to add in for insurance. Luckily I paid with Bidpay because he didn't take Paypal and I was too lazy to get a money order and mail it. The guy said he sent it and responded to all my emails but I never received it. I called my bank on the 30th day and they refunded me the money (Even though I paid through Bidpay) and told me they would check into it. A couple of days later I got an email from the bank saying that it was all taken care of and I could keep the money.

godsey1 #20 Posted July 11, 2003 I would be happy, if the police would find who took it. They did an investigation, and came up with nothing. We still have our hopes up of getting it back...... I know it's gone. Tony
