+Allan
I took a break from scanning Atari 8-bit stuff for a bit and went back to one of my other Atari projects I wanted to do. Like most computer magazines back in the day, Antic published their magazine listings on disk as well, to save people the time of typing them in. Unfortunately the first nine issues were never put on disk. Some of the programs (mostly games) you can find on the Net but the others are (were) either never typed in or lost. Well, not anymore! Here are the nine complete disk images of the first nine issues of Antic magazine. All programs are included, even the non-Basic and non-assembly programs. All the Forth listings are included as well. These are just text files to be imported in Forth compilers. Any programs that had errors and corrections in later issues have been corrected. There are a couple of programs that had errors but never any corrections. These I left the same and did not try to fix them. If you find nay issues with them, let me know. I put them all up on Archive.org as well. Hope people enjoy them and Happy belated Christmas/holidays. Allan P.S. Below is a link to the Antic magazine programs listed in Start magazine I did a few years ago. Antic_Issues.zip 14
Gavin1968
I thought the most fun was typing all the programs in myself. I used to look forward to each issue and all the hours of typing only to have a bug somewhere and the program not working. I credit all those hours of typing in the listings to what taught me to type.
firebottle
TAPETOPS.BAS is corrupt on disk 1. I get an error-164 when trying to load. Trying to export the file with Atadim: "Wrong directory index in sector". AtrTools says "TAPETOPS is cross-linked with DOC".

I couldn't save it so I retyped it and will reload the whole set.

firebottle
REVENGE.BAS on the June 1983 disk has the same error-164 problem. Also from May 1983, TELECHES.BAS line 8010 should read: 8010 DATA 104,104,104,168,162,6,169,255 Edited December 29, 2019 by firebottle

I also fixed the Telechess game and re-uploaded the whole thing.

Mr Robot
I don't suppose anybody has rips of Antic Disks Vol 3.02 Jun'84 and Vol 3.03 Jul'84? I can only find an incomplete copy of 3.02 and no 3.03 at all.

Mmm... And Firebug 2 would be amazing.
