jrhodes
I am looking for Who's Behind the Mexican UFOs by Chris Bodenmiller. I have this version, attached here, but can not get the bookmark to work. It hangs at a black screen. When you FCTN+4 to break, you see that it is wanting input, ... Input that it should be reading from BOOKMARK from the current disk. If i give it input that matches what it should be reading from the file [select 2 from menu, wait until i hear the beep, have to type on a black screen] (for instance "1,2,2,0", for Niagara Falls), the game seems to work and load the proper section, only to get a "line not found in 32767" error. If anyone has any alternative copies of this game which have a working bookmark function, please post. +adamantyr
I bought the game back in the day, and copied the disks over awhile back. I don't know if they will work any better, but here they are. Adamantyr MEXUFO1.DSK MEXUFO2.DSK

+Vorticon
These are the copies from the tigameshelf.net. I just tested them in Classic 99 and they work as they should, including the bookmark function. Incidentally, we had quite a discussion on the Yahoo group maybe 10-12 years ago titled "God in the Machine" which I started after I found out that Chris had included a large religious diatribe at the end of the game which I thought was very sneaky and completely out of place in a game. Mind you it was not his religious views which irritated me (I strictly abide by the dictum of live and let live), but the fact that he forced them on the players of his game. He later contacted me apologizing and told me that at the time he was going through a very religious life phase which he was now over with Interesting tidbit...
