0078265317 #1 Posted December 31, 2019 Found these cool adapters. Firdt few days ago. And there is one on ebay without the cable. But no shell so might be flimsy without a shell. Second one just found but more expensive. First one how hard would it be to make a shell? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nintendo-NES2db9-Adapter-Pad-Nes-to-the-Atari-520-1040-st-Ste-and-Stf/293206009844?hash=item444470a7f4:g:P-kAAOSwaZRdPGmb https://touch.adverts.ie/arcade-retro/new-snes-nes-gamepad-db9-interface-adapter-for-amiga-atari-c64-computer-578/13821218
RamrodHare #2 Posted January 1, 2020 You can rewire an NES controller if you have a spare. I used to do it. As far as making an enclosure for that adapter, if you have access to a 3d printer it would be great. It would be really easy to make a shell out of sheet styrene. A wooden shell wouldn't be too hard, if you have the tools. There are a lot of possible ways to make a shell, it just comes down to what tools you have and your experience. Sheet styrene is by far the simplest and probably less costly.
0078265317 #3 Posted January 1, 2020 I don't but my library has a 3d printer. Or legos might works also. I know there are ways to wire a controller. I remember that thread. But this adapter is better. I can use any and if it breaks I just plug in another controller. And I can try different ones like a new max. I have a broken max at home. But I can eBay another one. And there are other methods I discussed here like with some camerica adapters. But that uses a freedom connect and that uses 4AAA batteries. This is a direct connection. No batteries.
