I also remember a letter in ST Format. A friend of Douglas Little, the guy who programmed Apex Media for the Falcon, wrote in to explain that Doug, who was handling the ST coin-op conversion of Hydra (I think) actually did an STE-enhanced version and demonstrated it to Domark, who turned it down.
