seastalker Posted January 3, 2020 Share Posted January 3, 2020 It would be nice to have a compatibility list for all light guns across all all Sega consoles. I don't know of any adapters to play Saturn or Dreamcast on earlier systems but SMS and Genesis have the same plug type. I've read though that Sega Menacer games used infrared and aren't true light guns. I'm guessing then you can't use a SMS light phaser on these titles. Are there rom hacks that allow this? If you can't use a Menacer to play Lethal Enforcers, do you still need the Konami light guns or do SMS light phasers work? Maybe there are more options if using MiSTer through USB? Maybe there is a best suggested light gun for each console? The SMS likely had the one and only, and I don't know any other than mentioned for Sega Genesis.
