Should I trade my 2600 for a TI99/4a?

Oh, and by the way, the 2600's BASIC Programming and Compumate must have had cassette support, right? Or did nobody ever get to the point where they have to actually save something using the keyboard controller?

DIdn't know there was a keyboard and Basic program for the 2600, I thought it was strictly a gaming console.

 

Anyway, I have fond memories of my Atari 2600, but if you have more than one that works, best to give it to someone that can give it a good home and trade for a system you don't have.

I have this.   It looks cool but sucks to use. Just bought it for its obscurity

Same reason I have it. Looked cool. I always wanted one when they first came out and in a way somewhat rare. So picked this one up 2 years ago. Checked that it worked and then put it back in box and display it.

I only have a single cassette for it. 'SongMate'. I didn't even know if they released any more than that
