+arcadeshopper
I just received word.. this is cancelled due to the museum is closed for at least 2 weeks due to the virus.. It is unknown if they will open in time so they cancelled the event. Greg
+adamantyr
Yeah I figured that would happen. My own company based in Seattle told everyone to WFH until the 20th at least.
matthew180
I went last year and it was really fun. I had my flight and hotel booked since Jan for the 2020 VCF PNW, then the news of the cancellation. ? I emailed the organizer of the PNW event and he said it would not be rescheduled, and that there are concerns about the East, MidWest, and West events later this year. If the West event is not cancelled, I will probably attend again (I went last year as well), but the PWN event was by far the better of the two. The Living Computer Museum is just so awesome. What I did not realize is how many people here either went to the PNW event last year, or who are in the Seattle area and would be attending. It would be fun to meet in person if anyone is going to any of the VCF events.
+arcadeshopper
Yes I am disappointed that I won't get to go this year but relieved a bit too I was on the fence about interacting with the public so much.. Greg
