Curt Vendel, January 6, 2020 in Atari 7800
Rest in peace, Curt. You will be missed.
Horrible news... I wish the best for his family!
Rest in Peace Curt.
Very sad news.
Just thinking about all the good he has done for the retro community.
So sad to hear this.
Perhaps Albert might consider dedicating the home page to Curt's life and accomplishments for awhile to pay homage to all the good he did while he was on this planet. Truly a great man, and one that I'm glad to have met. You will certainly be missed by many.
Very sad news.
This is terribly shocking and sad. I just can't believe it. 😭
That’s terrible. Kurt was a funny guy. I really enjoyed hearing his stories in the interviews I’ve listened to.
How absolutely horrific. I feel so bad for his family. His wife works at a hospital in NYC and they have a school age daughter. They just lost their pup of 15 years this past July and now they lost a father and husband. We lost a great pillar of the community. Rest In Peace, Curt.
May his loved ones find peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Very saddened to hear this. I pray for his family and friends.
Still in shock.
This is terrible news and my condolences to his loved ones, family and friends.
Curt was extremely talented, a fellow pug-daddy, and he's going to leave a hole in this community that will be hard to fill.
RIP Curt! Thank you for all that you did for everyone! Will miss my political and hummer H2 buddy!
Very sad news indeed. I will keep his family in my thoughts.
Last year he sent us greetings on the Silly Venture
Rest in Peace, Curt.
Another terrible loss in this incredibly awful year.
This is horribly shocking, I'm speechless. This is a tremendous loss for the community. Curt, we will miss you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Rest In Peace.
Wow, I am shocked. Sending my condolences to Curt's family. RIP pal.
Damn, this sucks big time. My most heartfelt condolences to the Vendels for their loss, and to this wonderful community as well.
I haven't been here in awhile, was taking a break from the forums but I just heard about this on Twitter.
Depressed hearing this news. I've read his posts on this forum for years and it just seems crazy that he's now gone. This guy is gonna be missed. Life ain't fair sometimes and it makes you appreciate what you have around you. RIP Kurt. Strength to his friends and family tonight.
Terrible news. RIP Curt - you gave it one hell of a fight these past 8 years. My heart goes out to his wife and young child. I really hope all the work Curt did and everything he procured can be saved so folks in the future can not only learn from his work, but keep his spirit alive as well.
Wow... Just sad man... I couldn't believe it when I first heard the news... Condolences. 😞
