Mod chip, flash a Action Replay ("Pseudo Saturn"), or prepare to get yourself an ODE eventually and load ISOs off of that. It's worth it.

I think I'll go the Psuedo Saturn route... seems to be the easiest way for now.

He's already said he likes games that auto-scroll the playfield. You can argue about definition all you want, but that's what he likes.

Yes this is true auto scrolling plane or space ship shoot em ups. Total carnage does look good though since I like the first game smash tv .

what are the better homebrews? Doesn’t have to be shoot em ups ( this thread kinda derailed anyways haha)

Stick to the AtariAge store or Gaztee and you'll be fine 😀

We may be will do Jim Power, nothing concrete now.

We have a 100% version of Video Kid with a whole new soundtrack made by Barry Leitch. Will be released probably Holiday 2020.

Cresent Galaxy gets some hate, but I like it.  Played it through a couple of times, missing sounds no problem I stick the CD player on.

Can't believe your converting Video kid its slow, ugly and terribly boring.

There are the other Atari ST ports as well that include other shooters, like R-Type. The ST versions weren't the most enjoyable things out there to begin with, but it's cool to be able to play them on the Jaguar.

You ll have to wait for Cj to port wings of death and lethal xcess for some great shooting action.

Best played with the original ym2149 sounds though tmfx isn't bad either.

Never heard of Video Kid. Just looked it up on YT and it looks like a lot of fun. I am down for this one!

Damn curious as to what form this took on the Jag. Bitmaps?

It would take someone good at 3D and real familiar with the Jag hardware I think to do a decent flat shaded poly translation of this.

If it's a decent conversion it will sell like crazy.

Thanks for the link machine.

I can see why they were having a fire sale on these IPs.

If he could get Zero Tolerance converted for Jag the sales would hit the roof and bounce.

I got full source code, but don't know if anyone wants to take the challenge. May be Rebecca Heineman, She has said she'd work for us on the Jag.

FPS is my favorite genre behind shoot em up and I would love an updated version of this game with a larger view and smaller hud… I just can't deal with a tiny view window. I'd want a PC release as I don't own a Jaguar.
