Neil Peart, drummer of Rush has passed. 😔

The best drummer to ever play the skins.  The heart of the greatest super geek band in the world... Motorcyclist, musician, writer...artist.  Rest in Peace.

He will be missed for sure... One very talented person and the heart and soul of Rush..  Very private person all his life. Fighting Brain Cancer for 3 years with no one even hearing about... RIP Brother Neil, now he is Rockn with all the other Legends in Rock n Roll Heaven...

Beyond sad to learn about his passing. Incredible drummer for one of my favorite bands of all time. May you RIP Neil, and thank you for your sense of humor, kick ass showmanship and the great music all these years!

Still in shock about the news, will be missed by all.   All 3 members a huge influence in my life since seeing them live for the first time in Sept. 1983.  R.I.P. Neil.

I was shocked and saddened when I heard.  I was fortunate enough to see them live 3-4 times over the years.  I had 12th row at the St Louis Arena for the Counterparts tour.  Niel threw a drumstick and the guy in front of me caught it.

Also, I literally just picked up Grace Under Pressure at a thrift store for $1 last weekend.

RIP Neil Peart. One of the greatest, if not the greatest. Saw Rush Live in Toronto back in 2002. Incredible.

Both grace under pressure and moving pictures are my favorite albums. Exit stage left is there best live album.

I'm in shock too.  I thought they said he had retired due to arthritis or other physical ailment that made drumming difficult?

I did get to see them four times, I think

RIP
