bluejay
Commodore VIC-1541 for parts(not working) comes with power and serial cable, $15 obo plus shipping or free local pickup My Commodore 1541 is not working, so I decided, might as well sell it here and get a working one! Yeah, I'm pretty lazy, and somebody here could take it for 20 bucks obo plus shipping. As you can see in the photos, the floppy door is broken and has some glue stains from when I tried to fix it with superglue(it didn't work). The drive is also stuck in an endless reset, so it's for parts. It still has all the chips inside since it used to work perfectly. It also comes with the power and serial cable. And really, I don't think you want me to ship this beast to anywhere other than the United States, since it will cost a whole lot more to ship, making this item super expensive. I will also accept local pickups if you really don't want to pay shipping and live near Santa Monica, CA. Thanks! Edit: The infinite reset could be fixed by reseating the chips. Cleaning the sockets will help as well. Edited March 16, 2020 by bluejay
bluejay
And by the way, I will accept reasonable offers(hence the obo I wrote on the main listing), or even trade for a cheap console like a 2600 jr. Thanks! Edited January 13, 2020 by bluejay

bluejay
Come on, the chips on the motherboard are worth more than that!
