Inky #4 Posted July 13, 2003 Won it for 31 bucks + S&H. Hopefully the S&H won't be too bad.
eric_ruck #5 Posted July 13, 2003 Ah, shipping and handling, the bane of the vintage game collector. Sure, you won a working 5200 console for $5, but it costs $25 to ship it. Or $3.85 to ship that $0.50 cart. Oh well, the crosses we bear... Eric

Inky #7 Posted July 14, 2003 As long as they carefully pack it using a sledgehammer.. $31 for shipping... But since a monitor is with it, I don't think that's TOO outrageous.
oesii #8 Posted July 14, 2003 Anywhere from $25-35 for shipping is about right for a monitor, hope you enjoy it I have a sweet TOS and MHZ-modded 1040ST with hard drive setup that I don't get a chance to toy with enough. Also have a 520ST with external floppy that I need to test and sell soon.
rpmxxipt #9 Posted July 14, 2003 No, that's not too bad, and hopefully they pack the monitor carefully. It's really a pain to try to ship one of those and HOPE that it arrives intact. The last one I got, the seller actually took a knife to some solid styrofoam and FITTED the danged thing to the box. I'm glad I'm not in monitor sales. It looks like a very nice system.. I hope it arrives in great shape and that the floppy drive is working 100%, although even those seem relatively inexpensive to replace. -rpm-
Inky #10 Posted July 21, 2003 Turns out the computer isn't an STfm, as I was led to believe by the description, but an STE!! I am a happy sponge!
