Pitfall! International Edition...?

I have a cartridge of Pitfall! that says "International Edition" where it usually says "...Adventures of Pitfall Harry."

I could not find this label variation in the Rarity Guide...what is this cartridge? is it PAL?

It might be ntsc. There were also some international edition labels that were sent to Canada and are ntsc. Read this thread for more info.

Yeah, what they said. It could be PAL, though. Play it. If you get weird colors or screen roll, then you'll know.

I have an International edition Pitfall! it came from Canada, it's complete in the smaller Activision box and has the N sticker on the box. Plays fine in my systems as well. But as others have said, it very well could be PAL basically just depends onn where it came from originallly.

The ones with the smaller boxes were sold in the later 80's. The original releases here in Canada were the normal sized boxes..

 

Some of the really late (read "dumped") Activision releases were in blister packs at Woolco and Kmart stores...

yes the cartridge came from Canada so I assume it is NTSC
