carlsson
So have you seen this on the CIHS FB group and now Twitter? Little is known yet, people are trying to date it to late 1986, early 1987 due to the PLA chip. It is really cool all forms of unknown relics emerge from the vaults. It would seem that the number of actually released products were just the tip of the iceberg, but that probably is true for most companies of the time. +save2600
What the heck!? Such an odd piece. And what's that ball all about... some sort of kids controller?
motrucker
From this angle, could that ball be a track ball?
+save2600
I see what probably looks like 4 pads for a joystick, each marked; Forward, Back, Left, Right. Funny it's not labeled Up, Down. Don't see traditional signs of (2) wheels or (2) optic sensors for a trackball either. White piece in the center of the PCB looks flat too. carlsson
Yeah, someone commented that is the PCB from a Sony Hit-Bit JS-55 controller, from the MSX computer range. However the knob must've been replaced by this blue ball.
