Hope this helps: Antibodies - Shoot them. Increases heart rate if they reach the bottom of the screen. These only appear when your ship touches either side wall. The only stage where these will not appear is the last stage, the blood clot stage. Defense Cells - Shoot them if you can. Good for points. No penalty for allowing them to reach the bottom of the screen. Clotlets I - DO NOT SHOOT THEM. Every time you shoot one or any part of one, heart rate increases. In some instances once you get better, sometimes you will shoot them intentionally to get them out of your way, because the increased heart rate for shooting them is a lot less than how much it increases if you ram into them, so it could be a trade-off that may be worth it. Bacteria - Shoot them. Takes three hits to eliminate. Increases heart rate if they reach the bottom of the screen. Enzyme - ALWAYS SHOOT THESE. When you shoot them, it is the only thing in the game that heals you ... DECREASES heart rate (good thing!). These appear in all stages other than the last, the blood clot stage. Clotlets II - You can shoot them if you want, but they are indestructible, and like their Clotlet I counterparts, they do not increase the heart rate when they reach the bottom of the screen. They only give you 1 point per hit, too. (cheap bastards) Also, these only appear on the last stage (blood clot stage) Naturally, running into ANY of these things will increase heart rate. Running into the main clot in the last stage will kill the patient and your game will be over, regardless of how low heart rate is at the time.
