I tend to agree although I can not imagine someone in the end wants to win this game/round by doing this. I personally do not care. I want to conquer as much as possible fields and I am less interested in the points. So I would say: leave it to the player.

 

As long people do not use freezer / save state I am fine.

I just race every screen. Seems to work for me.

Never heard of point pressing before and so it never really occured to me to use it.

 

So I'm happy with my score so far.

I think the consensus is that we don't rack up the score on the girder levels.  So, I will not use that tactic for the HSC.

71,300.  The struggle is real.  If only I could get more than 20 minutes here and there, I might be able to improve.  Need to learn those foundry levels.

So far I never made it higher than my last score. It is quite 'frustrating' (in a good way) ... Most of the time I already in screen #3 (that is when you get the barrels again). That is for me the moment to press START again. I do not want to die so soon, otherwise I will NEVER get to a higher score.

 

Do you guys recognize this, that you press START in this game before you lost all your lives?

Yep I've been trying to improve my score. 230k I think is beyond me but I wanted to at least get to level 7 and a 200k score cos I've managed that before

I do find myself restarting but it's a bad habbit, better to just stick with it - you know my one man theory but it might be man #4 that is the hero.

Yes I think somwhere on level 7 is the target for top players.

Oh I am SO proud. For the first time in YEARS I managed to reach 125m.

Pfff. More luck than wisdom though. I managed to survive the extremely hard barrel screen. The rest of the screens is easier for me (well the bakery is harder too).

Good work M. I just had my session for today and had one good go at 151,500 which amusingly is 500 less than my best posted, level 5 freaks me out !!
