ST selling advice

Recommended Posts

First of all, I'm not offering to sell here, so please don't refer me to the appropriate forum. I'll go to the Buy, Sell, and Trade forum or some online auction house when I'm ready to sell. Right now I'm just looking for advice. I have an original model 520ST with SF314 external drive and SC1224 monitor. All three are in their original boxes. The boxes are fine structurally, but are aged and discolored and have discolored tape on them. This was the first ST I ever bought, purchased from the original owner in central Kentucky about 25 years ago. This is one of two systems I'm looking to eventually sell, but it's the only one that is boxed and all three pieces from the original owner, originally purchased together. I'm trying to decide if it would be best to part it out or sell it all together as a system. Monitors are heavy and shipping wouldn't be cheap. The computer and monitor work. I'm not certain if the drive is working properly, but it was 25 years ago, which means absolutely nothing today, I know.

Anyway, I'm just looking for opinions. Break it up or keep it together? How do you guys think I would have the best luck finding it a good home?

If you want a 'good home' find someone with good rep here on the forum who wants it and make a deal/give it to them.

If you want a 'good price' bundle it.
