I found the ass end of an ADAM in Pennsylvania, but I left it where it was. Damned if I'll pay $7 for something I can't even turn on. From what I've seen, though, finding a whole one isn't worth the money or the effort.

yeah I just bought Donkey Kong, and it must be a retail game, (non pack-in) because it says that too. just another variation...

Coleco made all their labels like this once the Adam was released. I doubt this means that the game is any more rare or valuable though. Most games are probably ONLY available with the Adam message.

In case you didn't know, the Adam is a computer version of the ColecoVision. It can play all ColecoVision cartridges (regardless of whether the label says so or not). If you do find an Adam, make sure you buy the printer as well, since that's where the Adam gets it's power from.

(Actually, don't buy an Adam at all. It's a bad computer, and ColecoVision games are all it's really good for anyways)

I've actually got an ADAM complete in the box. I wish I could get rid of it, but I have no idea how I'd ship this monster! :( I've been thinking about modding a CV power supply to bypass the printer, then I might ebay it, and give the bidder the choice over taking all of it, or just the main unit/keyboard. :ponder:

Oh and GruBBworM, you DO realize this is a ColecoVision cart and not 2600 right? ;)

I have an ADAM that I modded the power supply on and its the shiznit!

It is all I use to play ColecoVision game on and once you get rid of that ungodly printer ball and chain, it's a neato little game unit. Had they not put the ColecoVision game in as part of the system, it would be a waste, but...the video out on the ADAM is much better than the ColecoVision.

I'll take the one in the box off your hands if you don't want it...PM me.

Just give me the "piece of crap" price...lol.
