Coleco Adam Printer problems

I was wondering if there were anyone here that would have knowledge on repairing the adam printer.

The printer was working fine and then it would not complete a print in the word processor. It would freeze while printing

making  a sound from the speaker. So I cleaned the rails checked the print wheel and lubricated the the hammer and print wheel shaft

with a very small amount of oil. It will return to the left and the print wheel would spin but still the noise from the speaker and stopped and did not

move to the rignt as it should. I had another printer so I tried that and the carriage returned to the left as if should, the print wheel

spun and stopped, but did not move to the right to start position. 

Any help would be appreciated. I tried searching the forum but did not get any results on this issue. Thank you in advance for any help.
