Kamikazi26
The Ultimate 2609 console. -3 external USB plugs -Ethernet port -composite out -1080P HDMI -fully functional OEM controllers -controllers are simply plugged into a new header. They can easily be swapped out. -Mausberry intelligent shutdown and power up circuit -separate 5v power supply with master shutoff switch -working original reset & power switch -SD card hidden inside glued in cartridge case -Raspberry pi 3 B+ - Top cover not modified, so it can be swapped out with another Intellivision console type to change the “look”. I got bored. Had to build a project. This is nothing new. I’m not the first to do this, just sharing my project. fine tuning the software side of things for the menus. My goal with this? To have the true “feeling” of playing with my childhood 2609 console, but having it in 1080p with the clearest picture available.

+fdr4prez
I like projects like this; thanks for sharing. How functional is the original Reset button? The script that I use has a short press for reset and a long press for game quit. Send me a PM if you are interested in trying it out. +fdr4prez
It looks like all the internal hardware work is completed. Not sure if you've seen the Intv-1 dongles that can be used with the adapter, so you don't need make your own with that little breadboard. http://www.2600-daptor.com/
Kamikazi26
Yeah, I saw those. I had all the parts I needed to build my own though, but you are correct, it would have been easier with those adapters. I really enjoyed building this.. I’m still implementing slight improvements (thanks to you)..:)

Kamikazi26
Unfortunately not. The Ethernet is simply for changing Data on the SDCard only.
