Aunty Entity
Got your floppulator (floppy emulator), still swapping between two floppies and a emulator floppy setup? I found this a pain in the patooty, I have plenty of floppys and still use them... Seeing as I have clone half height 5.25" drives this was a bit easier than it would be with a disk II unit. I found an old case, don't know what from it might have been a terminal, it was empty when I got to it. Tore down the floppulator, cut a hole in the front to mount the screen, a little bit of supportwork and mount the board behind the slot there. Add a switcheroo drive selector and jump some switches onto the front of the case there and presto. Toggle switch on the left, up for emulator, down for floppy drive. No more plugging, unplugging, bare boards, poking about for the micro switches on the switcheroo, all from the comfort of your armchair http://pineapple.zapto.org/switcheroo for more details on that. Get your floppulator from your favourite source, and scare up or manufacture a case to mount it all in. A
