eegad #7 Posted February 24, 2020 Phoenix is the game I've most been hoping for on 8bits for...decades at this point.
+TrekMD #8 Posted February 24, 2020 Oh wow, that is awesome! The only home conversion I know for Phoenix is on the 2600. An 8-Bit version will be excellent!
+sramirez2008 #9 Posted February 24, 2020 Wow! Those pics look amazing. I hope this leads to a 5200 conversion too.
+Allan #10 Posted February 24, 2020 Read Philsan's post #6. He lost it the unfinished game. Someone will have to start one from scratch. Allan 2

The c64 had a version called Eagle Empire, although the final boss screen is crap BBC micro had a damn near perfect conversion. Both are 6502 so maybe a straight conversion would be easier than coding from scratch.
Rybags #19 Posted January 21 Would be nice if this came out to fill another gap in the arcade conversion list. What would also be nice, probably nicer, would be Exerion. Though the technical demands would be somewhat higher, possibly even more so than Galaga.
Mclaneinc #20 Posted January 21 That BBC version looks dead sweet..Shame the Atari one fell through...Mind you, most of us have MAME so it's out there...
