Wanted - RAM 320XL

Recommended Posts

If anybody has one of these in a case and working and would sell it, I’m interested. Thankyou.

Perhaps someone who has one but then upgraded to 1mB and is not using nor needing the 320 any longer?  :)

If you want an external memory expansion, you could think about Sys-Check II, a diagnostic card that can be used as memory expansion too:

Yes, very good suggestion.

But remember what YSG200 has to say about Sys-Check II

In fact I was just wondering if someone would make a beautiful 3d printable case for it.

Another solution would be U1MB; I've read that now it can be installed without solderings on socketed 800XL.

Yup. Sorry. I’m not looking for a diagnostic tool, which I’m sure Syscheck works well for. Only interested in purchasing a 320XL from somebody who would sell theirs. Thanks.

The only problem is the RAM320 XL isn't produced anymore and was produced in very small numbers. At least the Syscheck is still made and can be used as just a ram upgrade if one wants.  Also the Syscheck is the only ram upgrade still being made that doesn't require any soldering.

tf_hh also has a 512kb SRAM expansion that fits the 800XL:

Tf_hh's 512K expansion board is such a great upgrade and really easy to install on a socketed XL.  I highly reccomend it.

It is very unlikely that you will be able to find a RAM 320XL to buy.  Lots of people want one and there are very few to be had.

@YSG2020 depends where (in the world) you are located.

i have a 576XL - which has a 320XL option though JP1.

It's not cased, and it took me a long time to locate it myself, but i may let it go for a good offer.
