Hey folks, just posting here to say that I've started a new website, https://www.gameplayandtalk.com/. This is a blog-style site focusing on written articles ranging from game tutorials, to op-eds, reviews and whatever else I can come up with. While I have a YouTube channel already, this site is meant more to stand on its own and not be a place to spam my videos. For instance, the most current article I posted over the weekend is a non-video topic covering 32X incompatibilities with specific Sega Genesis units. Hopefully articles like these can be of use to folks out there on the internet.

 

Currently things are rolling out fairly slow (I just posted my fourth article on it over the weekend), but as I find time to write I'll be continuing to add to it over time. I also hope to get a few other folks on board and as we get stuff added to it, I'll post updates here. Speaking of which, if there are any passionate folks here that occasionally feel the urge to write retro-gaming oriented things that might be of use to others, and you want to join up in a project like this, feel free to reach out to me. No commitments, no exclusivity clauses and I'll be happy to let you promote anything else you work on (YouTube, personal website, Twitter, whatever).

 

There are no ads, the site is secure (HTTPS), it's simple/straightforward, and there's a RSS feed link at the bottom of the main site. I'm still trying to figure out where I want to take the design, but overall at the moment it's functional enough, which is probably all it needs to be. That said, any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Woo.. It's been a while, but finally got around to posting something new. Sort of.

 

I took an old dedicated web site of mine revolving around the futuristic racing game, Scorcher (Sega Saturn and PC), and compiled its info into one long article on my current site. Full box and instruction manual scans for both the Sega Saturn and PC versions of the game have been added as well. Check it out here:
