Wanted: 5.25 SCSI Drive Enclosures

I would like about 10 of these.  They can be half height or full height and the power supply needs to work.  They do not need to have drives in them, but do need to have at least one slot open for a CD ROM or SyQuest drive.

Hey, just FYI, sometimes its easier and cheaper to make your own.

and just added them to the back of some random 5.25 external case. You have a permanent SCSI ID , but you save a bunch of $.

I was looking for some of the cases for the same reasons, but couldn't find anything under $50 + shipping.

 

I've found old SCSI tape drives are you best bet if you want case $40 or under total cost.

There are a couple of these for cheap on eBay right now if you don't mind SCSI2.
