Had you bid an uneven amount say 25.15 You would have won. Actually you could have bid 25.10 in this case you still would have won since your bid came first. You don't always bid even numbers, that keeps people from being able to do this. Nowhere does ebay say you must bid even numbers, only for minimum bid increases, but for proxy bids, you can go uneven bids to throw people off. Aha, so when he bid 25.10, it didn't tell him that the minium bid is 25.50, because the current standing was still 23,10 and so his increase of 2,0 was way over the minium 0,50.
