Sikor is right, gameplay is equal, although I prefer the 64K version since I find all the spoken messages quite annoying. They give the game a nervous feel. Deteacher Posted March 10, 2020 Share Posted March 10, 2020 I can't seem to best my current high score, which leads me to the following question: At what point in the game do you just start shooting for the center of the bases in order to clear out the round quickly? I always go for max points by shooting the cannons of each base. It takes longer, but you do score more points. But sometimes ... when there is a lot going on around me I shoot the center. APE - XEX versions lock-up after the title screen from APE but they work from a boot disk so here are a couple if anyone wants the 64K versions doing let me know.
