fakecortex Posted April 1, 2020 Share Posted April 1, 2020 Dang slowdown gets me. And the fish. And the barrels. But I got to Jaws! I really like this game, even when I have to supply my own music so I can have sfx. The problem is really the speed. The slowdown makes it so that you're learning how to play against the game's flaws and memorizing when it's going to work against you instead of using your own reaction time. And although I love the character animation, Bond is so slow to crouch and turn that when you get to the barrels on 1-3, it's another matter of remembering when they come from off screen so that you can jump or shoot appropriately.
