CasperGhost Posted March 3, 2020 Share Posted March 3, 2020 Hi guys, Having problems my Lynx Mk2, so to start the Lynx wasn't turning on so changed the power circuit components and now power up and loads games but with graphics issues. One minute it will display normal then after no set time scrambled blocks will appear, you can start a game like batman it will play but then out of the blue the bad guys will disappear but the sound is there. +-^CrossBow^- Posted March 3, 2020 Share Posted March 3, 2020 Well, if cleaning the cart and the cartridge port contacts don't help, then it could be indicative of one of the ICs failing or perhaps ram. As you had to replace the power components to get it to fire up again, it is possible that there is damage from when those components went bad in the past.
