WTB: Atari XE Game system top case, complete case, or non functional XEGS (for the case)

I have a XEGS w/o it's top.  It came into my possession that way.  No idea what ever happened to the top to this XEGS.

 

Hoping someone might have the top (with buttons), or a complete (empty) case, or even a non working XEGS.

 

Let me know if you have anything matching this description.

bump.... still trying to locate a top case for XEGS, or an entire case, or a dead XEGS for the case, etc....

@cwilbar, have you tried getting in touch with Brad at Best Electronics? I don't think he has XEGS case parts listed but it might be worth a shot to email him.

Thanks, I had not checked with Best yet.  Was hoping the maybe someone here would have something.... but maybe XEGS didn't get diced up for parts, or produced in as many numbers.  As I'd guess that it is probably a bit easier to get most Atari case plastics then XEGS.  Odd thing is that in the past I've seen empty XEGS cases on eBay.... now that I could use one, there are none there either....

bumping again.... but looks like this XEGS is going to become a spare PCB for another.  I'll have to try Best again, I never did get a reply.

Well I do have a XEGS case now, but it does have yellowing. Guess it could be retrobrite'd or used as-is..

This XEGS is now complete.  A bit of yellowing, but all in all, not that bad, and much better than no top case !  🙂
