Yay! I pulled my 520 out of mothballs, and it still (sorta) works! Still having that annoying mouse problem, where you gotsta putz with the connector to get it to work, but other than that, all is well!

 

Now to get a TV to hook it to, and download some games!

And I found the paralell port 2 joystick adapter for Gauntlet 2!

did you pull out your computer because of what you got from SCAT at the show on saturday? :)

(nick told me that you brought some disks from Scat and joined the mailing list)

Uhh.. NO, of course not.. :ponder: :D

 

I just wish I had my color monitor. Oh well, I can hook it up to my TV.

 

I do have a 1040ST on the way, however, so I may put the 520 back into storage.

It could be your mouse or, more commonly, dry solder joints on the mouse port connectors. Remove and dismantle the keyboard and resolder them, and from then on, use port extenders.
