retrocomparisons
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdh5zU1J4Kk This is a compilation of every Atari game to be released on more than one of their cartridge-based consoles. If it was released on a combination of the 2600, 5200 or 7800, it's on here.

+save2600
And a reminder of how well most of the 2600 versions have held up comparatively. Then and still now.
Trebor
The thought is nice, but unfortunately the emulator utilized for showcasing the 7800 is pretty inaccurate, even by standards of several years ago. For example: Dig Dug, Xevious, Kung-Fu Master (especially), are noticeable wrong. Color palettes are arguable, but the glitches seen in the video are not an accurate depiction. It definitely took time and effort to put together, but the end result does a disservice to the 7800:

Jetboot Jack
I also feel that the palette on the 5200 games generally looks off to my eyes, Ballblazer for instance looks grim and a few others look muddy and muted IMHO. sTeVE
RALPH!
5,200 and 7,800 more progress with technology from creation of new circuit chips . Few games seem to progress more at 7800 than 5200, only if the game uses more colored sprites, making it look better at 7800. 5200 and 8-bit had limit of 4 players and 4 missiles, 8 and 2 pixels wide 1 color bit. 7800 could do more from 4 to 128 pixels wide, 2 bit color, 3 with background. Goochman
Nice work and Im sure alot of effort. Only thing I wish you could've added was the XEGS since technically it was a console released with the 7800. You'd only need to add the XEGS version where the 5200 did not have a release, otherwise the 5200/XEGS videos would be the same. Theres only a few games that were release on the XEGS (or Atari 800) that were not on the 5200 but were on the 2600/7800. Not a big miss - I enjoyed watching the whole thing.
