adventure plus cart glitching

When the sword and several objects are on screen at  the same time garbled graphics appear.  The chalice is messed up and walls appear in places they shouldn't be forcing me to use the bridge when I shouldn't need it.    I heard something rattling around in the cart and it was just plastics. Adventure Plus rom on Haramony cart works fine.

The game works fine on my heavy sixer

I dumped the rom and played it on my haramony cart.  Must be somethinng with the 7800 or the cartridge.

Did you open the cart to see if it's a new or recycled game cart?  That's a pretty old title and very possible that it was made from a recycled board which would have required a separate soldiered on chip/hex inverter that could have came loose and is causing the issue and the noise in the cart.  Check and let us know.

board says 2007 atariservice  I don't see anything wrong with it.

Nope that is a new board and not a recycled cart.  Might just be a bad trace on the cart.   Thanks for checking.  Was def curious.

What system were you playing it on when it was glitchy?

It's possible it wasn't sitting right in the system it was glitching on?

The 7800 has issues with the odd game. Mine can't play Haunted House for similar reasons.  I started a topic on this a few years ago.
