Squeaky 800 cart door - Remedy??

I have an 800 with a very tight cart door release, and squeaky hinges while moving up or down.

The plastic parts have been soaked, washed and cleaned thoroughly. The sound changed a tiny bit, but still tight and squeaky. There is no noticeable warping of the plastic.

What would be a lasting lubricant that would not damage/discolor/drip on the plastics?

silicone grease or vaßeline? theyre not as messy as other mechanical greases and dont ooze

if its too tight you may need to mill out the hole a bit or sand down the pin diameter

Silicone grease made mine silky smooth!

The auto parts store is a good place to get little packets of silicone grease. It is for use inside spark plug wire boots to seal them and prevent them from sticking to the spark plug.

As long as I have your attention. What is the difference between a C017945 and C014319? Which goes with which 800 series item? Which one is 'newer'

C017945 is a 31VA supply, C014319 is smaller with only 15.3VA.

I like to use 17945's with everything that takes 9V AC. The 14319 is fine for small things like 850's and 400's.

drawer and or carnuba wax variants, it doesn't go away and it doesn't dry out... it works darn near every time and is close to permanent as you will get... apply warm or liquid wipe lightly or just press and rub cold... see what works best for you... once and done without a mess or discoloring wet drippage...

the 800 door can squeak from hinges, springs, and even the catch... just wax them all up... solved...
