alfredtdk
You have already noticed some qualities of the first prototype version of moon patrol for the 2600? That did not reach the final version. The first sight to be noticed is the lunar vehicle, quite different from what we know, the second to be noticed and the soundtrack, with more metallic beats and sounds, the third and the checkpoint that saves your progress from point A to Z, present in the Arcade and in its final version for Atari 2600 replaced by an x and finally the fourth and last infinite Continues that were replaced by lives won reaching certain levels in the score *NOTE* As it is the first prototype, it does not have a title screen, the lunar vehicle does not produce sound when throwing cannons and jumping, there are also some bugs, the vehicle sometimes deforms when jumping and does not reach the end point of the route, which would be the letter Z moon_patrol_prototype_1.bin 1

alfredtdk
The second version of the prototype is closer to the original launched for the Atari 2600 on the world market, with the title screen and some bug fixes for the first prototype! The big difference is that here the famous Arcade Rolling Stones are present from the 4th stage on! Because they were withdrawn from their final version unfortunately it is a mystery moon_patrol_prototype_2.bin Edited March 21, 2020 by alfredtdk

I did my analysis on my own casual player experience! I know and have done a lot of research on the AtariProtos website looking for information about unknown games or that Have never been released! I'm sorry, what really happened was that in some parts of my texts there was a coincidence in the Description of what was Already available for consultation on the AtariProtos website!
