23,590 pts.  A fun game once I figured out what I'm supposed to do, but holy crap, I can't tell you how many times I lightly tap the d-pad once only to see my cursor move 2 or 3 squares at a time!  Controls are awfully sensitive in this game.

I'm digging this game somewhat too. Cursor is touchy.

I have ZERO idea how to play this game.

You basically have to move a shape to create 3 (or more) in a row in a vertical or horizontal direction. To move the piece you click on the one you want to move and then hold the direction you want it to move and then hit the fire button while holding that direction. In order for the piece to move it has to create a 3 in a row. To use the bombs you click on the shape with the bomb icon. This will clear the single block with the bomb and all of the blocks above it will fall down one spot.

This demo is a little different in that in level 6 there is a countdown timer, but the gameplay mechanics are the same. The more matches you make the longer you will play as each match will add a little time to the timer.

The controls are having me lean towards "broken" here. Even using keyboard arrows has the same effect. With the timer on skill 6, this results in a frustrating play. I'm also not a fan of how you move the pieces; plays counterintuitively. Case of, "learn how it controls", opposed to "controls how you'd expect". Shame ?

^Any tips or strategies you can share with us?

Really the only tip I can think of is that if you don't see any moves then hit the bombs until you see one. Hitting the bomb does give a very small amount of time back and gives you a little extra time to find a different move.

OK, I kind of have this game figured out now, but I have a question. I was playing and suddenly got a message that said "NO MORE MOVES". At the time I had 23,040 points.

But the board filled back in and it let me keep playing. I eventually got up to 37,000+ points before I finally ran out of time, but the Hall of Fame only shows me with 28,850. Anyone got any ideas what might have happened?

"No More Moves" is part of the game. Kinda like reshuffling a deck of cards. Did you enter your initials for the 37k score and were you on Skill 6?

I don't recall it asking me to enter my initials after my time ran out at 37,000+ and yes, it was Skill 6. I'll stick with the 28,850 score. I'm sure I can get up there again now that I know what I'm doing.

45,630

Geeeezz... That took me like an hour.  I need to figure out how to score more points, lol.

I got the controls down but dang, this is slow goin'!

I'm thinking maybe next time the no bombs option wouldn't take so long.

Or maybe the options with no countdown -- it's game over whenever you reach "No More Moves".

100,130 pts.

At first, I thought I'd be happy to get about 30k, but then found the game to be much easier than I thought it would be.  My timer meter was almost full when I reached 100k and decided I'm done.  I can't even imagine playing this game into the millions.  The score rises so brutally slow.  Some games I can enjoy sitting for a long time and playing.  Although I like this game, this is not one of those games I could sit for hours and play.

For the most part, I was able to see a few moves ahead; however, those huge combinations where pieces are suddenly exploding off the board... I felt like Inspector Clousseau when he bends over to tie his shoes and all the bad guys shot each other.  ?
