miker
Hi guys! As time seems rather unfriendly lately, I've decided to share some of my Chipper conversions (mostly from MOD files). Maybe they can help you a bit to you go through that really viral reality. Take care and have good time! miker Lynx_Music.zip
Zendocon
Nice. Thank you for sharing.
+Stephen Moss
When I read the title I though it was going to be more links to the You Tube corona virus re-wordings of Bohemian Rhapsody (Choronvirus Rhaposdey by Adrian Grimes) and My Sharona (My Chrona by Chris Mann). Inevitably there will be some who might consider them in poor taste but it's times like there where you have to keep a sense of humour people, and appreciate the inventiveness. Zendocon
Anything right now is in better taste than covers of John Lennon's "Imagine".

drludos
Awesome! This is very beautiful rendition of a well known theme, with an extra bit of "metal" feel to it! Thanks for making it and sharing it, you are arguably one of the best Chipper composer :)!
miker
OK, another version with less aggresive bass. (LOL, yesterday I forgot to save source file and had to re-import it from RMT). sml_1_1a.zip
drludos
Thanks! 14 hours ago, miker said: (LOL, yesterday I forgot to save source file and had to re-import it from RMT). sml_1_1a.zi 9.65 kB · 3 downloads Out of curiosity, what is your workflow to compose Lynx Music? Do you compose anything directly inside chipper? Or do you use another tracker and simply use chipper to import/convert music? In the latter case, do you have any tips / guidelines to get good convertion results? Edited July 19, 2020 by drludos
miker
Well. It depends. For Lynx Quest I've composed everything inside Chipper. The modules like Aurora or Salute were imported directly from MOD's (and altered inside Chipper if necessary). And sml was improsted form Raster Music Tracker (PC cross-tracker for Atari 8-bit) as I had this module already converted. Lately I'm busy with making new instruments/effects in Chipper, and checking what is supported/hearable. Stay tuned for dedicated topic.

LordKraken
Listen to all the songs once more, really your conversion of Hymn to Aurora, would fit perfectly in a shadow of the beast sequel Also for sml... now that we have the music, who is going to port the game
miker
Hi again! Long time no hear, no? This time I've converted one of my favorite ever modules Techno Florid. It was quite popular on a8 scene in 90s, and was even converted as ingame music for TacTic (some kind of c64s Leonardo game port). I've used newer Chipper player for this. Enjoy!
